I’m really a shy guy who was born in Singapore but grew up overseas (in Pakistan) before returning back for mandatory National Service. That's how I got the weird accent that I struggle with even to this day. As a kid I was so shy… I would rather talk to myself than to others. (So they mistook my shyness for arrogance.😞) Plus, my fierce looks and sharp features never helped. And then after I got into real estate and they told me I had to go talk to total strangers daily.

I. Was. Terrified. I was also out of options. No job. No savings. No backup plan. And I had a worried mother to prove myself to. I just started. Got knocked down hard. Desperate, I bought a cheap sales book with my last $16 and read it from cover to cover. I decided to do exactly what the wise author told me to. I took massive action.

By my eleventh month, I had turned my tiny $16 investment into an OBSCENE return of more than $160,000 in net profits! And the day my former manager sought my help, I found a new calling in life!

I have the opportunity to train thousands of real estate agents every month, many of whom now earn more money than I ever did. The sense of satisfaction from helping others is FAR GREATER than money itself. Today, that satisfaction drives me to help more agents!

The first time I knocked on a local homeowner's door, he called the Police on me. And I was so traumatised that I never knocked on doors again! In spite of his “near-death” home seller experience, I kept on prospecting (mostly by cold calling) and by the year's end, I almost gave up. It got so bad that I did not even have the $2 train fare to reach my broker's office, and in desperation, I walked 25 kilometers ON FOOT! And lived with painful blisters on my feet that took me 3 years to heal... The worst part was, for the entire year of 2008, I earned a TOTAL full time Commission Income of just S$1,000! (That's less than S$84 a month, kinda like earning a salary in Zimbabwe, Africa, but bearing the cost of living in the most expensive city of Singapore...)

It wasn't until I really listened to and obeyed my mentor Dan Kennedy that I promptly got flooded with almost 2,000 leads in under 3 days flat! And I got my first big fat pay cheque! That was my first ever taste of success in life... after witnessing so many early failures.

But then came the family tragedy. And getting evicted at midnight by the roadside, with my wife in tow and my toddler clutching his milk bottle. And then having to start all over again. That's the real me. I struggled to be understood by my clients with my weird accent and slurred speech. I used to have low self esteem issues about my broken nose and crooked teeth. I was scared of my hearing issues coming up in social interactions. I struggled for years with my shyness. I grappled with not being born with the gift of the gab. I used to be afraid that my failures would disqualify me from being able to be a great coach and an effective leader. The reality is that my failures have also been my greatest teachers and inspiration. (See? There's hope for all of us!)

But since I wasn't born with any secret super powers, I've always had had to do it the hard way... by learning from my too numerous but embarrassing failures... by overcoming my natural shyness... by resolving my unconscious habit patterns... by studying great coaches and modeling myself after amazing mentors, and training myself daily in order to become the best in the world at what I do.

And that's exactly what I did to pull myself back up from the lowest point in my life. I bought a cheap book teaching sales (with my the last $16 in my torn wallet) and then took massive action. By the next 11 months, I had managed to turn that tiny $16 investment in myself in to an OBSCENE 10,000 X Return on Investment of more than $160,000 in NET Profits. (I still get goosebumps each time I recall this.) Finally, I had done something truly heroic.

Today I help agents create success and build the lifestyle they want. I don't believe people get into real estate just to sell a lot of houses. We got into real estate to have a LIFE. We all believed at some level that having our own real estate business would give us greater control over our time and our income and ultimately more control over our lives. My commitment is to help you realise that goal. Look, if you're not making much money... or stuck at a certain level of production and unable to achieve a breakthrough... Or if you’re selling a ton of houses but your working 24/7/365 and never able to take a real vacation without all the stress… or you’re not present there to see your kids growing up… or unable to truly take care of your needs or those of your loved ones... that sucks. That’s not REAL success for most people. That's just a HORRIBLE way to live!
