What Training Courses Don’t Teach Realtors!1 min read

SUMMARY

It seems everyone is a real estate expert nowadays.

Every other day there's a new kid selling courses.

They quickly shoot some slick videos and post screenshots and claim to teach you property agent secrets.

Should you take up their courses?

It depends.

When I got started as a realtor way back in 2008, I struggled for a year until I found the right mentor to guide me.

Therefore, a course was instrumental in my success. It was a shortcut.

And when my own former manager sought out my help, I realised, many other realtors needed this too.

And that is how I started coaching realtors too.

But there is a lot of B.S. nowadays

Nowadays it is totally different.

Every Tom Dick and Harry is peddling his own course after seeing YouTube videos posted by American gurus and then shooting some slick videos.

And they're giving advice to real estate agents without actually having sold a single house!

Basically, there are plenty of pretenders and Imposters committing intellectual fraud with realtors.

Be warned: they're testing their knowledge on the careers and hard-earned income of realtors.

They using you as training dummies.

And Realtors are getting hurt.

It's good to exercise a healthy dose of scepticism.

There's no need to take up coaching and courses from such jerks.

There's another alternative.

Hear it directly from someone who ACTUALLY sold homes

Let me tell you why you should listen to me.
I sold actual homes made of bricks and cement.
And I helped my team of realtors sell homes too.

I've made all the mistakes.

I've banged against the walls.

I've struggled.

And I've prospered.

And that was all made possible from learning from the right mentor.

What I teach in my own coaching and training programs is based on real life experience. It's based on living in-the-trenches. I eat my own cooking.

What you should look out for in a course?

Two simple things:

  1. Things you absolutely need to do in order to attain Success
  2. Stuff you absolutely must avoid in order to prevent Failure

Any competent course trainer must be at least 3 to 5 steps ahead of you, in terms of where you want to go. Meaning, if you are a brand new realtor, he must have at the very least run a small team of realtors successfully. If you are a veteran, then he must have have sold more houses in a year than his competitors.

If all the above criteria are not met, then it's a waste of your time and money. Period.

You're not after some feel-good theory. You should be looking for tangible results. You need actual SOLUTIONS to real-world problems, not empty motivation from some kid still living in his parents' house.

And I'm your man!
